“After deciding to decorate our living room but not being able to decide on what to do we found the Acoustic wall panels on Walls & Floors. Rather than complete the full wall with panels, we decided to split our desk area and TV areas & we ordered three ash grey panels.
Our panels were delivered in two boxes (two in one and one in another) direct to our door early one morning.
On the morning of the installation, it was time to clear the area and remove the TV from the wall. After measuring & checking various times it was time to start the first cut - all of our panels needed to be cut down as our ceiling is lower than 2400mm. Once cut to size it was time to start with notching out five plug sockets and one tv wall bracket - the panels cut really well and 90% of the cutting was done with a cheap wood saw. We used an oscilating saw for a couple of the tighter cuts around some of the plug sockets. All panels were fixed to the wall using standard plaster board fixings - we did it this way so the panels can be removed in the future with no damage to the wall (all fixings were painted black once installed). I have never done anything like this before and I am very surprised at how great it have come out - even more so when i did the complete job on my own.
I think the panels are great and we are already looking at where else we can install them in our home.
