I couldn't be happier with the Trepanel Design® Walnut Brown Multi-Width Acoustic Wood Wall Panels! The craftsmanship is outstanding – the real walnut veneer has a rich, warm tone that instantly elevated the look of my living space. The multi-width slats add just the right amount of texture and depth, creating a high-end, designer feel without the need for an interior decorator.
Installation was a breeze – I managed it solo with basic tools, and the felt backing made everything super straightforward. What surprised me most was how much of a difference they made acoustically. “Wow! Just wow - that’s the difference after installing walnut brown multi-width acoustic wood wall panels in my sitting room.
It has elevated what I though would be a good idea (well done me!) into something dramatically better than I could ever have imagined.
It started after I saw various media wall designs which looked great, but which also posed questions. The real fire effect heater at the bottom - visually stunning but effective? Apparently not. And do I need all those shelves, cupboards and moodily lit alcoves? No, it would eat up space and encourage unnecessary extra “stuff” that, let’s face it, no one actually needs.
But I did like the idea of the TV on the wall rather than the default on a unit in the alcove next to the chimney breast.
This is where the panelling comes into its own. I had to move a radiator to get the uncluttered space I needed, but then found two 600mm wide panels from skirting board to picture rail to be ideal. With a cut-out square to accommodate to wall bracket, and judicious use of cable ties and velcro, I now have a TV that “floats” in front of the tasteful texture of the wall panels.
