“Look, I’ve had it with delivery services. All of them. They either turn up a day early and fling your parcel at a random neighbour like they’re lobbing a grenade over enemy lines, or they arrive six days late with a box that’s been sat on by an elephant. So you can imagine my surprise – bordering on a full-blown existential crisis – when Walls and Floors absolutely nailed it.
I ordered five of their Trepanel Lite acoustic panels for a dinky little podcast studio I’m cobbling together at the bottom of the garden – all very “BBC Four meets B&Q” – and I braced myself for the usual shambles. But no. I picked my delivery date like some sort of sovereign god of logistics, got text updates like I was in a warm, caring relationship, and blow me down with a Ryobi sander – they arrived bang in the middle of the two-hour delivery window. Not early. Not late. Not in a hedge. Just… there.
And the panels themselves? Slick, solid, Scandinavian-sexy. They look good, feel good, and most importantly, sound good – or rather, they stop the sound of my wheezy MacBook fan and the dog snoring under the desk from echoing into eternity. If these things could bring me coffee and chuck in a bit of acoustic jazz, I’d marry them.
Would I recommend Walls and Floors? Absolutely. In a heartbeat. In fact, I’m suspicious. Nobody’s this efficient in 2025. Something’s going on. Either they’ve made a deal with the devil or – more likely – they’re just really, really good at what they do. And in this day and age, that’s practically witchcraft.”
