“This was sold to us as outdoor tiles but with 8mm thickness. Quality and effectiveness of these tiles as outdoor tiles was rated as "very poor" by multiple builders and refused to undertake. We have now replaced it with proper 20mm tiles and walls and floors refused to take returns unless we pay for the transport. Really bad experience so far.”
Hi Manoj
I can see that when you asked a question about these tiles on our FAQ section 11 days ago we advised the these are not really suitable for outdoors as they don't have an anti-slip rating. Porcelain can be used outdoors but to ensure its safe when wet, we recommend a tile with an anti-slip rating. The thickness doesn't usually make a difference as the wearing grade of the tile is based on the temperature it is fired.
Apologies for the confusion.
Kind regards
