Achilles Snow Fish Scale Tiles Reviews

I am very disappointed with this tile. It has a crack on the top and there is some kind of glue residue, preventing me to use it. I paid for this tile, it was not a free sample so it is unacceptable!

Hi Rita, Thank you for taking the time to review our product. I am sorry to see that you are unsatisfied. The glue residue on the tile is called transit wax. This is put on the tiles by the manufacturers to prevent them from rubbing in transit. This is easily removed with warm water. I cannot see that you have ever contacted us via email to get this resolved? I have gone ahead and refunded the balance paid for this. Once again, please take our apologies. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors

Hi Sue We are sorry to hear that the tile wasn't quite to your taste. We have plenty of others to choose from that are less decorative, let us know if there are any samples you wish to see. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

These tiles are stunning. The fish scale pattern is enhanced by the texture of the tiles and the overall effect is like fluffy clouds on your walls. The only 'snag' is that the pattern runs diagonally which means to fit the fish scale in an 'upright' position, the tiles have to be placed in a diamond formation. This adds to the time of cutting the tiles to match the pattern in corners, recesses and edges, and therefore costs if using a professional tiler.

The tiles are gorgeous and much more affordable than other sites I looked at. I can't wait until my bathroom gets done and I can see them on the wall!
