1. Have the time when I'm out surfing in the morning so I keep an eye on time when I need to head back home for family duties and work.
2. Have a watch that has a vibration alert for the alarm so I don't wake up my wife when I leave for an early surf.
I looked at popular smartwatch but couldn't be bother having a watch giving tons of notifications I don't need and also having to recharge regularly.
The GD-350 ticked all the box the me as a reliable option for what I needed that will last for a long time and gave me these two features.

G-shocks are however deceptive in their stock photos. The reverse display is hard to read in less than perfect lighting. I’m very disappointed by this and am selling this watch at a loss on an EDC Facebook Raffle group. I hope the new owner likes it more than me. I have however bought a replacement G-Shock, so there is that. I do recommend Watch Direct, shipped very quickly and arrived safely.”
