“went for the smaller sized mini tuna as I have been used to wearing a 37mm automatic watch years prior to purchasing the mini tuna. i have small wrists and found that 37 to 43mm is the size for me. didn't want to add to another automatic to my collection as it takes a bit of maintenance; you'd have to wear it to keep it going. and it is a slight inconvenience for me to keep the automatics going as both my automatic watches have day/date complications so those two watches weren't a 'grab and go' type of watch. i wanted something i could just put on without setting anything but wanted a diver's watch. this watch, the mini tuna has no day, date (or both) complications. and it's a quartz solar, so that negates changing batteries compared to a purely quartz watch. the size and how its powered fits my category of a 'grab and go diver's watch'. been wearing this watch from the time i've bought it that both my automatic watches has stopped by now and just inside my bedside drawer. had this mini tuna first came out, i think i wouldn't have bought my automatic watches in the first place. it's just so solidly built and tough looking compared to my automatic watches at the moment.”
