I had seen photos of this BOLDR GLOBETROTTER GMT - BLUE BLACK for some time. I had thought it looked nice in the photos but wasn't really sure if it was for me. I looked at other brands and too many of them looked like homages of something else which I'm not a big fan off. I finally decided to purchase this watch and give it a try. I still wants sure if or how much I would like it once I received it. Once It arrived and I opened the box, I was blown away. The watch was much more than meets the eye, especially from a photo to when it's right in front of you. The different finishes on the steel are amazing and the glossy ceramic bezel not only looks amazing but the feel of it when you turn it is outstanding. Once the strap is sized and you put on the watch, it feels extremely comfortable. The clasp with divers extension is exceptional. One of the best that I've seen and used. The lume in low visibility is fantastic. Plenty of Super-LumiNova it's applied to the bezel and face indices. The watch keeps extremely accurate time that it makes it hard to tell if it's + or - anything. If your considering this model or one of there other Globetrotter styles I would highly recommend them. I think you will be as surprised as I was once you receive it.

The watch is nothing to brag about. I was very disappointed as it does not compare to other Boldr models.

Smooth on line purchase process. Good ship time. The packaging is world class! Really cool. Made me think of the stories we've heard about Steve Jobs being OCD over packaging details as it impacts the customer experience. Really cool little kit. Nice work. Had a issue when I initially tried to pull the white tab that keep the battery from running. It would not come out. I pulled the crown (not hard) and the entire crown and stem pulled out the body of the watch. YIKES. I reinserted and the watch seems to be working fine. I does remain however that if I go to set the watch the crown is difficult to move to the set position and there is not a feel of hitting a click or detente point. My only remaining complaint really. I did email the company and they replied quickly with an offer to exchange. However the email said it had to be unworn. Who doesn't try on an new watch when you get one? Anyway, I wasn't going to lie about it. I emailed back that I'd keep the watch as it has been running fine. I wrote that I just wanted to go on record in case I had problems. I didn't hear back which is somewhat disappointing I guess. Anyway - I really like the watch. It's so light (I'm use to my Omega automatics of which I own several). Good value given the materials used for sure. I tried on several different nato straps. Looks cool. The one it comes with is nice as well. I'm not hard to get along with. I would recommend and do biz again. Nice addition to the collection

BUT, i will look at it as just a product and not take into account my extreme hassle with shipping. If not for having to wait almost 3 weeks for this watch because the order was cancelled the first time, then shipped back to the sender the second time and finally got to me on the third try, i would have easily given 5 stars. But again all hassle with shipping aside, I'm a huge fan of my Boldr Voyager. Be warned, the face is very green, much more vibrant than the photos. The Lume is extremely bright but darkens within an hour or so. And the patina is already coming along nicely. Was not expecting the nylon strap to stay on as long as it has, was planning on a leather swap, but its growing on me. Overall, great timepiece, cannot wait to see how it ages. If you are still reading this, you are still interested in the watch, just buy it. Be prepared to go at it with customer service because the shipping is subpar, but if you want an automatic brass case diver, you've found a very well priced and quality built one right here. Thank you for your time (ah watch puns, never gets old) and i hope this review has helped you in the decision process

Excellent value but not useful at night. The watch is incredibly light, sturdy, accurate (so far) and looks decent. Two things I would change: --Make a strap with a color line or an alternate rubber strap. --Startup folks should look into tritium sources or better lume since this goes out in under 30min after being exposed to light for an hour. Not exactly useful at night.

I was looking for a bronze watch with sapphire crystal and decent movement, in this price range that looks good too. This was is what I settled on.
