“The watch arrived a week ahead of schedule, clearly packed with care. The 43 mm bezel is coated in an almost glitter-type flat black, pictures don't do it justice. The hands have a submarine theme, coupled with an etching of a sub "The October" on the back. The watch has some heft along with the study, rubber bands that are very comfortable. The band even has a rivet to lock the tab in place so there's no movement - simple, effective idea. New and big fan of Nixon watches.”

“I have a few Nixon watches and this is just as good as the rest. The style is slightly different to my others, with more slim numerals and no rotating bezel. Perhaps my favourite part is the strap, which is chunky and has a nifty button to hold the strap-keeper in place. My only real criticism is that a watch without a light really needs luminous hands for night use. Overall I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a classic style in black with a few special touches.”

“Well made. Nice sturdy band. Classic look. I don't have a big wrist or hand and it fit me well and doesn't look too big. Get compliments when I wear it. Believe it or not, I switch this out with my Rolex for a different look and I really like it.”
