“I have a young friend going into the Air Force. He is a big G Shock fan, so I decided to get him a going away gift. I chose this watch for it's features like Bluetooth and self adjusting to different time zones. I wanted him to have something adult as well as useful. A watch is one one the few things he was allowed to bring with him. He was totally blown away with his watch. When I asked him if he liked it he said "no, I love it. Watches make great gifts for military personnel, especially G Shock.”

“The compass feature could have saved me many wasted miles when I was driving over the road. The Rockies and Appalachians probably don't have 2 miles of straight road in either. Very easy to slip up and get turned around. Davey Crocket said he'd "never was lost, but I was a mite confused once or twice for a month or two". This thing is built tank tough - so tough it's approved for use by the SEALS and other elite units. I needed something like this when I was working as a construction laborer in Chicago. Lots of air hammers, chipping guns, and other high impact high vibration tools. I've wanted a watch that basically takes care of itself, so I can leave the Rado Diastar in the safe. With solar cell charging, it'll never need a battery [ I think. The Rado costs $200 to get a ne battery and gasket, and they do some testing to make sure it's in god running order, But the Mudmaster runs on sunlight, and that's one thing the IRS hasn't figured out how to tax - yet. Getting time signals from around the world, it's always on time, and so are you. My dad was a machinist in the 20' -60's, before computers and metal working machines got married. His standard was that "perfect is just barely good enough?. Very difficult to live with, but I think even he would give this a thumbs up, which is like finding horse feathers. Buy it - you won't regret it You WILL regret not buyi9ng one - these things are outstanding.”
