I don't know where my first review went. I never appeared here. Perhaps my initial three-star review based on the issue described below wasn't appreciated, but I did promise to follow up depending on how Xeric responded. So this time, both the issue and its resolution. My new Rosewood Halograph II arrived in January but about two weeks ago, it had stopped but no amount of manual winding would start it running again (yes, the Miyota 82S7 is both manually and automatically wound.) I also noticed the automatic winding rotor was freewheeling in one direction but did not rotate at all in the other. Clearly broken and well within the warranty period, I contacted Xeric directly. After a couple of emails back-and-forth, they sent me a shipping label to return the watch for repair or replacement. Just three days later, I received an email from watches.com with a shipping notice for my new order. Turns out Xeric was sending me a direct replacement, no further questions. Seems they hold back a few of their limited editions for circumstances like this. While I was initially disappointed that my new watch had already broken within five months, I was both relieved and pleased that Xeric and watches.com made good on the warranty. I am hopeful this new one will last a long time.

A PROVISIONAL one star rating based on the following: I bought the Xeric Halograph II Automatic Rosewood Limited Edition Jan 2020. I very much liked its appearance, the real deal looked as good or better as in pictures. The physical features (case, crystal, dial) were beautiful, the strap soft and comfortable, the operation seemed rugged and smooth. I received this invitation to write a review April 2020. It's good I waited until now to respond. On 23 May the watch stopped running. I have contacted Xeric directly as per the warranty instructions. Being a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) I have yet to hear back. I will follow up with additional review/comments pending how this is resolved. If watches.com would care to also reach out to Xeric, encourage them to assist a customer to resolve their problem, I would appreciate it.

Not too big a case and the leather is some of the best around, the wind mechanism makes a crank sound when the weight spins one way but other than that flawless, decent power reserve too.

Am happy with it so far. First day I wore it, I already had people complimented the watch.
