I'd call this watch a 2.5. I was very excited when I saw and read about it online. Very forward design and unique. The BAD: The actual product though has quite a few flaws. First, you can barely read the time or date. The time is read by two moons (hour and minute hands) that rotate around the watch... problem is you can't see them. That's the second issue, the moons are supposed to glow brightly. Even with direct sunlight exposure for several hours the luminescence is poor at best. It didn't glow for more than 60 secs. The date is also so small that you can barely see it, and only in direct light. Leather strap also has a very cheap look and feel. The GOOD: Very cool, unique look and design. The rose gold case is very pretty. Love the larger case size in general. Love the concept of the moon phase as well. Overall, if I want to wear a watch for unique style, this is great. If I want to tell the time, I'll have to use my phone.

It is a nice watch but two problems I find with it one there is no instructions or literature on it...two the alumnus isn't strong enough to stay lit...its and eliminating watch for three hundred 💯 it should be better. But I'll keep it cause it's to much trouble to return.

Very disappointed in the watch. Very difficult to read the time. Impossible to read the date. Advertised as luminescent but even under a black light it does not luminate at all. Cool conversation piece but embarrassing when someone asks the time. Would not recommend this watch especially for the waste of money.

I purchased this watch about a month ago and absolutely love it. It is a great conversation starter and an amazing piece to represent the discovery of the Trappist-1 soar system. I definitely have my eye on a couple more Xeric watches and look forward to the exciting pieces they'll have for us watch enthusiasts in the future. Xeric watches certainly have giving me a new habit.
