This Timex is a really nice version of a military/pilot-styled chronograph. The case is very solid and the smoked crystal is a great unique detail I haven't seen on many watches. It does reduce the efficacy of the Indiglo and lume, but Timex lume is usually not impressive anyway and the darkened Indiglo gives it an interesting almost blacked-out retro look. One thing that wasn't apparent from the listing is the case actually has a weathered gunmetal patina finish rather than what looks like a silver bead-blasted finish in the photos. At first I was mildly disappointed but grew to love it and think it's more interesting than the smoother finish would have been. The strap is a bit of a weak point. I don't care for the reflective side, so thankfully it's reversible, but it's also kind of thin and the strap holes are fraying a bit, but it is fairly comfortable. I still give this watch 5 stars for my satisfaction because I was already planning on changing out the strap anyway, and like any military-styled watch it looks good on many different straps. The stock strap is a nice color if it works with your style, it's a little bit darker in person. The brass buckle is similarly weathered and looks pretty cool. Overall, I would definitely recommend this watch at sale price. It has become a favorite in my collection and I will enjoy wearing it for years.
