“I was super excited that Waterdrop came out with a taster pack so I could try all the flavors! Youth and Zen were my favorite microdrink flavors. None of them are bad, however Boost was probably my least favorite (which I was sad about cause I was looking forward to this flavor). They take about two minutes to fully dissolve in water. They're pretty much like edible bathbombs, so I'll be ordering more!”
“I don't like drinking plain water. Facebook heard me (like it does) and showed me an ad for this product. I decided to go for it, hoping it would help my water intake, and also appreciating the company's commitment to sustainable packaging and reduced CO2 emissions.
I'm hooked!
For having no calories or sugar, the flavors are amazing. They have refreshing fruity/herbal tea-like flavor profiles that I find myself craving now that I've run out! My favorite of the bunch is Zen. I was skeptical about a drink with thyme and lemongrass in it, but it's balanced, mellow, and extra thirst-quenching to me. My least favorite is Boost, simply because the elderflower flavor stuck out too much for my liking. Even so, I still drank all the Boost cubes and thought "How lovely and different!" every time I took a sip.
Pros:
- Tasty, unique flavors that effectively helped me enjoy drinking water
- All of the packaging (what little there is) is recyclable!
- Super small and lightweight; easy to transport
- Add to whatever you want, not just water! For instance, I think the Youth flavor (peachy and gingery) would be a great addition to plain iced tea.
- There's something weirdly satisfying about the little "plop" when you drop a cube in, and then watching it dissolve like a wee bath bomb for your water bottle. It's soothing and fun.
Cons:
- More flavors please!
- I was about to complain that these come out to about $1 per cube, but considering each cube really represents a whole beverage product minus the water, it's not a bad deal. I'll happily pay this amount for something so convenient, good for me, and good for the environment.”
“they were all tasty, not too sweet and not overpowering. They are too expensive to drink daily but I do plan to take them when I camp or go other places where I have to use bottled water.”
