“Disappointing! I fell in love with waterdrop because of the clean, innovative flavors that leave no residue in my glasses, no foul aftertaste in my mouth and tastes like real ingredients. When I saw you were making an electrolyte drink I was so excited. The flavors sounded so enticing. Grapefruit everything, YES!
When I put the drop into my water it turned a familiar electric orange. ( Uh oh.) Then came the taste. I don’t have to paint an elaborate picture because you’re very familiar: take your favorite citrus sports flavor and water it down until barely sweet. That’s the waterdrop grapefruit flavor.
If I wanted a sports drink that tasted and performed like the big guys, I’d drink those. They’ve made them cheap and available. They’re even trying to make them healthier.
What I expect from waterdrop is an elevated and thoughtfully crafted drink. This misses the mark in absolutely every way.
Your classics are still the better choice. Please work on this flavor profile because I would love a grapefruit drink that is of the quality of Youth or Zen.”
“It tastes like dole grapefruit juice without the sugar which is really nice! I rated a 4/5 just because I would have preferred a more grapefruit oil/refreshing type of essence.”
“I love the taste of Grapefruit, and this new line is right up my alley. I put a drop in my water bottle that I take to the gym and it gives it that little something extra.”
