The steel drinking straws are pretty. For me, however, all drinking straws except the old familiar plastic ones are unsuitable because they feel hard and cold between the lips and therefore uncomfortable for me, especially as I have the habit of squeezing my drinking straw a little between my lips when I drink. Glass or steel straws also make noise in the glass. But that is certainly a matter of taste.

Die stählernen Trinkhalme sind hübsch. Für mich sind jedoch alle Trinkhalme außer den altbekannten Plastikhalmen ungeeignet, da sie sich zwischen den Lippen hart und kalt und daher für mich unangenehm anfühlen, zumal ich die Angewohnheit habe, meinen Trinkhalm beim Trinken zwischen den Lippen ein wenig zusammenzupressen. Trinkhalme aus Glas oder Stahl machen außerdem Lärm im Glas. Aber das ist sicherlich eine Geschmackssache.”
