“Requires quite a bit of charging, about every 3 days. Good reminder to drink more water. When using it on glass bottles, the cap looks better with a smaller bottle (400mL) than a bigger one (1L).”
“As a reminder it works and as an indicator of how much you are drinking it does the job. It does miss drinks and after it has been inactive for a few hours it takes a while to shift into working again. Calibration is difficult to make happen. I can’t prove that the water cleaning works but I have to assume it does and is great to have. I needed to drink more and it helps me but if you are competitive and want to achieve all of the badges etc then the inaccuracy in its readings may become frustrating. Hopefully future software updates could improve the wake up delay or calibration or readings.”
“Sadly, I used my points for my Lucy SmartCap, and unfortunately the 1 L bottle that I use at work that I specifically saved up my points to get the Lucy cap for … it didn’t fit. However, the one time I did use it, it was really easy to use, and The instructions are actually very clear. If I get another 1 L bottle I may very well purchase this item. However, I have the limited edition London bottle that is no longer made as there isn’t a London shop anymore so I doubt I’m going to stop using it any time soon. LOL
The customer service representative who helped me work out why it wasn’t fitting (my bottle was produced prior to 2020) was exceedingly helpful and arrange my return immediately. This in no way was waterdrops fault.”
“As long as it worked, I was very satisfied - practical, easy-to-use and aesthetically pleasing equipment. Unfortunately, after a few uses it stopped working and I have been trying to figure out what to do with it for several weeks. I had to buy previously used Brita filters for this time, but I admit that it takes too long. I recorded videos and the technicians are still processing my case. For this reason - a great disappointment. I miss using Smart Cap and would like to continue to do so. I will probably have to buy a new one, because it does not look like anyone will help me with the current one.”
“The flashing lights are great at reminding me to drink. It doesn't always seem the most accurate at measuring how much water has been drunk though, it's usually 10-20ml out (eg thinks I've had 580ml despite my bottle being full) but the other day it logged me drinking 450ml out of my 600ml bottle…”
