“There is a choice of bottle types with this set and I chose a vacuum insulated steel bottle as part of my set. The bottle is very high quality and easy to use and clean. The seal on the lid (straw lid type) is effective and watertight. Impressed by the way the straw draws from the very bottom of the bottle without bottoming out and blocking, or wasting too much of the drink by being too short. Also has an effective pressure relief so you don’t get squirted in the face when opening if you’re using sparkling water and it gets shaken up (I recommend not opening too quickly if you do have a fizzy drink in there, as it doesn’t give enough time for the pressure relief to work and some splashback will happen). TÜV approval of the bottle and lid show how serious waterdrop are about providing a high quality, safe product, and this definitely shows in the build quality.
The flavours in the set are a good variety to try. Iced tea peach is my favourite in this selection. Cola and orange are great with sparkling water as a fizzy drink alternative. I’ve yet to try the blackberry, but expect the taste will be good too.
Overall, this seems a very good value set to start with, especially if you are after a bottle as well. If you already have a bottle or want to purchase a cheaper one elsewhere I would recommend the fizzy and fresh set to start with instead. (There are plenty of cheaper bottles that can be purchased elsewhere, but you know you are getting a very high quality one here, so I recommend spending the extra and buying one of the waterdrop bottles if you can).”
