“The helmet was easy to clip and unclip, was compact and a good weight. It looks as if it would give lots of protection. However, even on the largest setting, it was too small for my head and I’m a skinny runner/cyclist so that was surprising and disappointing as I would really like to have been able to use it for travelling around on Lime Bikes.”
“Really love this helmet! Before this I was cycling LOADS around London unprotected! It always upset me!
The product looks great, it’s wild how it goes in the smallest of bags (some I didn’t think it would fit in)
It could do with a little extra padding on the inside, but honestly if you want a convenient helmet that keeps you protected it’s not a bad compromise!
This is the helmet for you!
5/5! Great work guys”
“It’s an excellent idea, using it all the time now, fits well in my Brompton bag. But, it says it’s good for heads upto 61cm, I’m 60cm and it’s tight. Still highly recommended”
“What a brilliant piece of equipment! Such a much needed piece bike kit that neatly folds into a bag. I have one, my wife has one, and I bought one for my son and nephew who are always riding around on public bikes - they now use a helmet. Can’t say enough about it!”
“Absolutely love it! Box was so compact when it arrived that I didn't know what it was until I opened it. Really easy to unlock/lock the clip and folds away into a small bag which is great for zipping about running errands. It's a total gamechanger in this respect. As someone who hasn't yet found a cycle helmet I liked, this one is super stylish and adjsts to fit my head really snuggly and comfortably. Can't recommend enough.”
“The comcept is good and a sensible price. It's well made too and although very marginally heavier than other helmets it's not anything to worry about
The two downsides for me are that
1) it isnt very comfortable and could do with additional padding - I have rub marks on my head when taking it off (of course these disappear eventually but not great when arriving for a lunch/client/work related appt) and
2) to get the item into it's smallest space when you minimise it you need to 'shrink' the sizing so when you open it back up you then have to resize the headstrap for your head each time.”
