Firstly we want to say thank you for your support!
The best by date is not an expiration date. Our dry powder mixes are shelf-stable. They technically do not “expire” – as long as the integrity of the package is maintained and they are stored in a cool dry place. Our mixes remain wholesome and fit for consumption for several years.
The date is simply a stamp that indicates the lot number and one year from the date of original manufacture.

Hi Jo Ann, we hope that you will open the product and enjoy it! It is just as good as the day it was made and will keep for many months to come. This product, especially, is very shelf stable. We've had packages that are more than five years old in our personal storage and there is no discernable degradation of the product.
On the other hand, if you'd prefer a refund, we're happy to oblige and just want to be sure you're satisfied.
As for a new package, we likely won't be producing a new batch of this product again until March of 2021.
