“Purchased this at the end of October, ready for Christmas, and wanted to set up and plug in before storage before Christmas decoration time! Very glad I did because after about 10seconds being plugged in the plug started to fizz and then pop with a burning plastic smell. Found the plug had blown and disfigured so got straight onto WRC on live chat (they were offline so requested a response). They got back to me the next day and over the next week they sent out a replacement plug. Unfortunately then new plug still did not work so I requested a return...two weeks later I am still waiting for the return to be 'authorised' before I have the pleasure of taking the tree to the local post office to return (they will deliver, but wont return via a carrier even for a faulty product) and after it has been received and checked i can then finally get a refund (they have proof of it not working). Let's hope they pull a finger out so the refund comes through in time to buy a tree elsewhere in time!”
