“Three and a half stars…
This is a really useful jacket, worn to work and a formal event when wanting to feel smart and with jeans as a light alternative to a denim or cotton jacket.
The downside is that the sizing is not great for me. 8 is too tight on the arms and snug to fasten at the front but 10 is too roomy and there is an inch or two too much across the front. Also it would be better if it was easier to remove the shoulder pads: my shoulders are square enough without them (!) so I’ve taken them out - one side was not too difficult but the other was more sewn into the main seam. I suppose this is well constructed if you want them, but not if you don’t.
Can’t decide whether this makes it 3 or 4 stars out of 5 because I’d still recommend it, but I just think it needs a little work. Also a petite version would be welcome.”
“This looks so lovely. It fits brilliantly. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because I haven’t worn and washed it yet. That’s the real test. I’m expecting it to wash and wear well - and look as good as when I’ve tried it on.”
