“I ordered sizes 6 and 8 of this jumpsuit (my usual size is 8). I found the 6 snug and the size 8 was a little more generous than I would have expected. However I decided to keep the size 8 as it still looked nice and quite elegant.
I wore my jumpsuit for the first time for a meal out. After sitting down for dinner, the jumpsuit appeared excessively baggy around my bottom and I felt very self-conscious and uncomfortable with how I looked for the rest the evening.
Having worn my jumpsuit, I contacted Whistles as I was so unhappy with its appearance. I was asked to send photos of the jumpsuit and how it looked on me. I did this. Initially I received a prompt reply advising me that linen was a natural fabric which had a tendency to ‘stretch and relax’, and would regain shape after washing. They stated there was no manufacturing fault with the item. I replied to Whistles again advising that I have had linen items before but never have they become so stretched during wearing. Even if the garment will regain shape after washing will it not stretch with each wear? I pointed out that their information gave no mention of ‘stretching or relaxing’ and had it done so I would have considered this and probably not have made the purchase. A second reply from Whistles was almost exactly the same wording as their initial response. They did not respond to my comments other than to say that they would not consider a refund as there was no manufacturing fault.
I feel very disappointed with Whistles. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have always been very happy with my purchases, however I now feel I will have to carefully consider any future purchases with Whistles.”

“Excellent fabric, I already have other Whistles jumpsuits, they always receive compliments. I usually buy size 6, but the 8 was a better length in the body in this style.”
“I am a size 8, however, this fitted beautifully except for the bust…I’m not huge either, so very disappointed with the dimensions. Bought the size 10 which is overall bigger, but I can do the buttons up. I do love it and I will get lots of wear out of it.”
