“I love this jacket and I have 2 of them. The fabric quality of the dark grey vs the navy is not consistent. The grey is slightly heavier and better quality. The navy is lighter and doesn’t appear to be hard wearing. Much as I love them, the cost is prohibitively high, I would purchase much more from this brand if their costs were more in line with their quality. The general feel is that the margins are too high, likely to factor in wholesale, and as a prior buying director this is irritating tbh. I’d like to see more brands stand up against the cliche biz model, use only plant based fibres (I.e no leather silk or wool) and become decent companies with integrity and open-mindedness. It’s 2024. Switch it up folks.”
