With 2250 - 2400 lumens and a 120° beam angle, our cutting edge Infinity 30w PIR Motion Sensor LED Floodlight from Mirrorstone Lighting has the raw performance to easily illuminate medium to large sized outdoor areas. It uses just 30W of energy though, so it’s very light on consumption. So much so, that it is perfect for replacing a 300W halogen floodlight. What really sets this apart from the rest of the competition however, are the sleek aesthetics of the design. The aluminium alloy construction is slim instead of bulky, curved instead of angular, and attractive instead of ugly, bucking all the expectations you’d normally have of how a floodlight should look. The built in PIR sensor automatically switches the floodlight on when movement is detected, covering a horizontal area of 120°, so it’s a brilliant deterrent against potential burglars. IP65 rating means it’s completely dust tight and can withstand light jets of water from any direction – so you needn’t worry about rain or splashes ruining your floodlight. Of course, all this horsepower wouldn’t mean much if you had to replace it every year. That’s why it’s important to know that this floodlight has a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. Even if you have it on for 6 hours a day, that still works out as over 13 years! Introducing Infinity 3.0 The Infinity 3.0 range of LED floodlights is much improved, with more penetrative light reaching into the limits of your exterior. The energy-efficiency has been massively heightened, with a much higher brightness-to-watts ratio than ever before. The PIR sensors on selected models have also been finely-tuned, to avoid erroneous actions, and only highlight what’s necessary. Tweaking The Finer Details You have the choice of what colour temperature you want your floodlight to emit. Colour temperatures simply refer to the shade of white emitted by a lighting product, based on the perceived warmth. It’s measured on the Kelvin Scale. The first option is Warm White (3100K). It appears very close to the shade emitted by conventional halogens, with its soft and relaxing hue. The other option is Cool White (6000K). This is much brighter than the warm, offering an icier, more penetrative light that’s ideal for large, open areas. Go Green With LEDs LED lights have many advantages over the alternatives. One of the more topical reasons as to why they’re better is their environmental benefits. As mentioned earlier, our featured floodlight uses 10 times less energy than an equivalent halogen floodlight. This already gives you massive savings on your bills. This also means that your carbon footprint is drastically reduced, and far fewer fossil fuels are burnt as a result. Not only that, but recycling LED lights after you’ve done with them is a relatively straightforward affair. This isn’t the case with compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) though. This is because they contain trace amounts of mercury inside them. They typically have around 0.3mg of mercury per bulb, and while this isn’t enough to cause major damage to you in the event of a leak, but it does make recycling problematic due to the detrimental effects it has on the environment. Cancellation Period And 2 Year Warranty Should you come across any unlikely problems with your floodlight, you can get a full refund or exchange within 14 days of the initial purchase – even if you simply change your mind! You’re also covered by Mirrorstone’s 2 year replacement warranty, giving you extra protection in the longer term. Fitted to end of kitchen extension to illuminate a 30 foot garden and as with virtually all security lights I've fitted - it's not possible to have both the light unit and the sensor at the correct angle unless it's mounted at least 20 feet in the air! When are manufacturers going to realise that when mounting a security floodlight 8 - 10 feet from the ground to illuminate a 30 foot garden you need the lamp to be aimed low enough to prevent it blinding neighbours and passing helicopters, whilst the pir needs to be aimed higher to detect movement in the illuminated area? The design of these units only allows the pir to be aimed at the same angle as the light, or lower - which is the reverse of what's needed! Lift the pir high enough for it to detect 20 feet away and the light hits the loft bedroom window of the neighbour opposite - stupid, but other than that, the unit is fine!

Sadly unit broken on arrival. Plastic sensor detached from metal base. Just a fag returning unit but hope for better outcome soon.

This is a sealed unit. I needed a switch override on it which essentially is not possible.
