“After quite a lot of Googling trying to find someone who could restring my large windchimes I actually came across Windsong Chimes. I decided to email them, even though the address was up in Coolum Beach and I lived on the Gold Coast. Imagine my surprise when there was a positive reply informing me that yes , the wind chimes could be restrung, yes, please post them and we'll look at what needs doing and we'll let you know the cost and how long it'll take. With this knowledge I was able to successfully wrap and post the windchimes and track the progress to Coolum Beach. Both Chris and Kathy kept me informed of the repair's progress and some little while later there was the parcel with the repaired chimes in it. The windchimes are happily hanging back on the hook and gently giving out their beautiful sounds. The total cost including postage was very reasonable considering the work and skills involved as well as the time. I would highly recommend Windsong Chimes to refurbish your windchimes. “I have owned this set of Chimes for 20-plus years. when the paddle was torn off (by some scumbags who entered my property) and the wood at the top rotted, I was not sure what to do with them. I did a google search after years of "sitting" on them and found Windsong Chimes ..... their chimes looked exactly like my originals, so inquired. Kathy and Chris were so very helpful and so I sent my chimes away for Refurbishment. Well, they were refurbished and returned within 2-3 weeks and packed so carefully. I was so thrilled with the results and now have my beautiful chimes back up and sounding amazing. Funnily enough, they are original Windsong Chimes. Thank you Kathy and Chris.”

“My chimes were looking very sad after nearly 30 years hanging around. Windsong Chimes did a wonderful job bringing them back to life. Communication was good and turnaround exceptionally quick. I would highly recommend Windsong Chimes.”

“We had not used our wind chimes for years, they had been languishing in a store room under the house. I found the old guarantee that came with the chimes and from that and Google was able to find the current details for Windsong Chimes. A quick phone call told me I could return them for refurbishment at a very modest cost. This I did and now have my wind chimes hanging in their old position on our deck, they are as good as new and so very tuneful. Kathy and Chris provided a very efficient and friendly service.”

“I am so glad I chanced upon Windsong Chimes' refurbishment service. Our Malay Chimes had been languishing in the garage for a few years because of a broken string. Kathy was such a pleasure to chat to and deal with. Windsong Chimes did an outstanding job cleaning up our chimes, replacing the wooden parts and restringing - they look like new and so lovely to hear them again in the breeze.”

“After purchasing a Cathedral Windsong Chime from Kathy and Chris nearly 10 years ago, the ravages of the harsh wet/dry climate here in Darwin, where we reside, caused the wooden elements of our chime to deteriorate to a point at which the chime didn't sound. Contacting Kathy and Chris we were delighted to learn that they offered a refurbishment service. We were provided with prompt and helpful advice regarding returning the chime and the most appropriate refurbishment. In a very reasonable time frame, the refurbishment was completed and the chime returned to us fully restored to its initial pristine condition and chiming beautifully again. We were kept well informed about the progress of the refurbishment, the cost of which was very reasonable considering the work undertaken that included full replacement of the wooden components, polishing of the metal elements and restringing the chime. Kathy and Chris very kindly included a free bottle of Gilly's Windsong Alfresco oil, to help preserve the new wooden elements. We are completely happy with the great service received from Kathy and Chris and most happy to unreservedly recommend their craftsmanship and service. “One of the strings on my chime had broken so I emailed Windsong to ask what could be done to repair it. I was thrilled to be advised that as my Windchime was under warranty they would give it a complete refurb. It was returned to me fairly quickly in an As New state and I am delighted with their old fashioned service. The company was an absolute pleasure to deal with and my chimes are Fabulous again.”
