Plastic case filled with clay balls, seems to be working its magic - humidity is slightly higher in the Eurocave now.

Doesn't do much really in increasing humidity for my 200 bottle Artevino wine fridge like the phone rep told me. I wouldn't spend on it again. Don't recommend.

I would have given this 5 stars but it arrived depositing dirt all over the place. The inside of the box was also covered in dirt.

This system works well. It is easy to use and given I have a 250 bottle wine unit, it's small and creates a good amount of humidity. Other positive issues is the box keeps administering humidity for weeks before it needs to be re-soaked. However the biggest negative is that the box emits either way too much or way too little humidity. Most all wineries that I've asked about humidity say that the humidity levels should be between 50-70%. The box I have goes from 45-78%. Maybe I shouldn't soak it so long but then I'm afraid I'll have to adjust it more often. Last my box came with no instructions and I had to call the Wine Enthusiast for proper use. It's also fairly expensive.
