This is my first wine refrigerator (owned for 4 weeks now) and I picked the Wine Enthusiast brand because the 5 year warranty is exactly what I want. I hear stories from everyone about how their frig falls apart after 2 or 3 years so the warranty sold me.The refrigerator is very nice and sleek looking. The lights inside are a beautiful blue which is more aesthetic than being able to read the labels in the dark. The frig makes no noise during normal operation and when the compressor kicks on it hums but the compressor doesn't run very long. I bought a thermometer that hangs off one of the shelves and it shows a slightly cooler temp (11.8C) than the built in thermometer (12.0C) which is good for me because that means its working!

One of the factor in my decision was the free shipping and white glove set up. After a couple of weeks I received a call from Wine Enthusiast and was informed there was a stair charge. So the free delivery ended up costing me $130. The delivery people were polite and informative. They did count the stairs and I was lucky on the quantity. If there had been 2 more steps the free delivery would have cost me an additional $65.

This was our 2nd cellar we have purchased, this one the shelves hold the bottles of wine in place better and other than the standard wine bottle do actually fit. Which is a huge plus! I'm really considering purchasing a 2nd one and getting rid of the original one we purchased a couple of years ago!

The cellar was delivered promptly and set up in our wine basement profesionally. However, we plugged it in on a Saturday and all of the buttons worked except the on/off switch. So we unplugged it and went through a tedious attempt at customer service, which had to wait until Monday. As it turns out, the on/off switch needs to be held down for a few seconds for it to work. Why in the world wasn't that simple instruction in the owner's manual? Especially when the service tech said "we hear that problem all the time". Sheesh.

I ordered the unit on the 12th and did not recent it to the 30th. Mostly because to many hands involved. I received white glove delivery service from Wine Enthusist. After almost two weeks of trying to track it down with Tech Trans, I found it was sitting with a small local company waiting to schedule a delivery. I wonder if I had not called would they have ever contacted me. Finally the local companies PO had road delivery only. They would not install and remove debri like promised by Wine Enthusist

In my basement so had to get white glove delivery. Expensive but worth it. The guys negotiated a flight of stairs and placed the cooler just right.
