I personalized my mini barrel and am happy with the look. However this was for my wedding anniversary and I did not see anywhere when you create the name that u want, that the distillery name would automatically add distillery behind the title. The title I wanted on my barrel was to say co. (for company) to be the finisher because I felt it worked better for my title. Now my barrel says (co. Distillery) at the end so to me it does not read right.

These are really cool to take low dollar whiskey and make them remarkably better. You can get them from other places (amazon) but not with your name on them and at the same cost.

We placed 5 liters of bourbon in the barrel and tasted it every 2 weeks with friends. The taste changed and we had a ton of fun comparing the new flavors to the original product.

BEAUTIFUL!We bought the 5L barrel for my in-laws 30th anniversary, and they were MOST OVERJOYED by the gift! NO problems, as long as you FOLLOW DIRECTIONS for set up. Already taking on its own color after just 2 'loads'for those that are complaining of: it's raw wood, it's light colored, doesn't look like picture, leaks, loose wood inside, .......It is a barrel for aging spirits! It's not a varnished (which would RUIN your whiskey), finished product! It 'finishes' as IT ages along with your whiskey..... The barrel design and function, pulls out water increasing the % of your whiskey, and that soaks into the barrel, as it ages, it will become deeper colored......The wood inside is from the charring process, of pieces that have broke loose.... NOT AN ISSUE, as it gives more surface area to work BETTER!!PREPARING TO ORDER OUR OWN.........And, yes, more to order for Christmas this year!!

Ordered around christmas time. Came very fast but the product was very cheap looking when we opened it up. It looked like it was thrown together in minutes. It leaked and did not hold any liquid.Took me several phone calls and emails and had to provide pictures multiple times of the barrel in order to get a replacement. The replacement barrel looked like a completely different product. It was solid and sturdy. Have not had a problem with the barrel since. I would recommend this product to someone just make sure it is rock solid and you water test it prior to putting whiskey in it.

I bought a 2 liter one of these awhile back and have been using it with great results. This one however is not nearly as good of quality. It was built poorly and most of the rings fell off in the shipping box. It looks as if the builder rushed it. The fit and finish of this barrel is not appealing at all. No matter how many times I rinse it out anything I put in it tastes like soap when it comes out. My other two barrels have worked great but somebody dropped the ball on this one.
