“I have to say this was the best customer service I have ever received. My package was delivered and unfortunately left at the front door and stolen. I notified UPS and the barrel maker immediately. The woman who assisted me promptly said she would replace it without waiting for lost package investigation which could take 8-10 days. I received my replacement barrel and my boyfriend will get his Christmas present on time!”

“I bought this for a gift for my father. followed instruction to seal it but it continues to leak. I added spirit that I wished to age after two weeks with water in it in hopes it may stop but it leaks even more. I have not yet contacted wine enthusiast for the problem.”

“revived the barrel in a good timely manor,however it looked a little rough around the edges but i was ok with that. since i had read the reviews before purchasing. The spout split down the middle a few days after having it..i contacted customer support and they sent me a new barrel. i am very pleased with the new one. it is nicer looking and has a Finnish to the wood that the first one did not have. and The font is much nicer. Very happy with the product.”

“I am excited to have the personlized whiskey barrel, but the engraving has burn marks that have shadows above all of the letters and looks very messy. When I asked WineEnthusiast about it they said it was unavoidable to have the shadow markings. I asked them why then the model photos do not show these burn markings and they did not address that. They just said the burn markings are unavoidable. So I suggested they show a photo of the barrel with the actual type of look and quality the customer will receive. The barrel itself is fine, the lettering just looks very messy.”

“The packaging was barely adequate, I was concerned that it may have broken in transit. I was sure to repackage it better before wrapping it as a gift.”

“I bought this for my son in law and he loves it! They are very small, but if you think about it, one liter of liquid isn't that much. However, one liter of whiskey is quite a bit! The finish is raw. I would have preferred a lacquered piece. It's still pretty, just not what I was expecting.”
