“Appearance-wise it is as nice looking in person as it is in the photos. 5 stars. It's just always amazing to us how poorly the wine storage is designed in units like these. The wooden slides are so cheap, poorly spaced and a total pain to operate. They only extend about 6" out before hitting a shallow catch that is easy to pull past and dump your wine if you aren't carefull. They are "loose" in place and glide on rails on the sides of the coolers. There is wiggle to them and they tend to hit edge of the door pretty much every time you try to pull them out. The spacing is designed specifically for Bordeaux bottle sizes. Your Burgandy or Sparkling bottles need to be alternated each row to maximize storage... which makes it a bit of a puzzle to organize... and these still rub against adjacent shelves if they fit at all. All of this is livable overall... but WHY!!?? I'd rather pay $1000 or more extra for a unit that had better functioning shelving than deal with the challenges and frustrations of these units.”
