“I wish that I could provide a zero star rating. This item does not even deserve one star. Because of poor design the item is incapable of retracting a cork from any of the three bottles that I attempted to uncork at a dinner party last night. The extremely small button within the grip device where the bottle glass edge must be squeezed in order to permit cork retraction does not operate properly. I believe I could fix the problem with a slight modification...affixing a small square of rubber sheating to the button in order to make the cork retraction work properly. However, my wife, who is far more logical than me, advised me to leave the unit as is and she will return it for the 100% satisfaction guaranteed refund from Wine Enthusiast. I hope that she can accomplish that with no hassle. I would never advise anyone to purchase this rather expensive product since it does not work as advertized!”
