“The carafe design is good, but the reason I had to buy this is on my prior carafe, the 'stem' in the middle of the carafe broke off by itself during usage! The carafe is a regular glass carafe and for this price, one would expect a crystal or better quality carafe. With shipping and taxes, it is around $120 which is steep esp when considering this is a cheap glass carafe that breaks off by itself.”

“Magically the iSommelier worked great to 'refresh' wines in minutes that would have taken hours. It revived wines that may have been slightly over the top which we may have thrown out without the iSommelier. Our only issue is cleaning the unit and keeping it from staining even with the recommended beads.”

“The carafe is somewhat thin and fragile. Would recommend having an extra one on hand. I broke one cleaning it in May and couldn't get a replacement until October which rendered the iSommelier useless. They are produced in China and apparently the manufacturer couldn't keep up with the demand.”

“I purchased a second isommelier carafe because I thought it would be good to have a back-up on hand in case I should break the one provided with the isommelier. Turns out, this carafe is pretty tough and I suspect I will hold on to the back-up for some time. The glass structure is creative to pipe in the air and create wine bouquets. The only drawback is getting the inside of the "airtube" to dry after rinsing out. Great product otherwise.”
