I got the N'Finity series after trying the Designer series. They are great quality, everything is pre drilled for screws (instead of nails as with the Designer) good wood and easy to put together. Very happy with these racks.

We purchased the N'finity wine racks from Wine Enthusiast. The only reason we gave it two stars was for the fine customer service at Wine Enthusiast. The racks look good and are economical but arrived damaged(not from shipping), are of poor quality (poor fit and finish, off center pilot holes or none at all, sizes that should fit were off by over 5/8 inches and directions for assembly not easy to follow). We had to have a carpenter cut some of the pieces to fit correctly and had to screw and glue damaged pieces together. Fortunately, the customer service rep just sent us another rack free without questions to make one rack from the good parts from 2 racks. I can't recommend this product unless your willing to alter it as a good "do it yourselfer " or have a good carpenter you can employ to fix the problems. We do, however, like the end product very much, thanks to Wine Enthusiast.

Assembly was a challenge because 6 to 8 screw heads broke off during assembly. The end product is solid and is what I expected!

I bought five of the N'FINITY wine rack components (two 5 column rack units, one solid 4 shelf corner/end unit, one curved 4 column corner rack, and one rectangular bin rack). All of them had problems; many of the problems were common, so I'm combining them all here: first, in summary, if you don't have a power screwdriver *and* a power drill, forget it; there is no way you could put them together with just a manual screwdriver, as the instructions state. Secondly, you need to be fairly strong (to pull misaligned pieces together and to lift and rotate the units during assembly) and also you need to be fairly handy with basic tools. In more detail: 1. It took almost one month to get them – much longer than I expected; 2. The instructions are terrible (you'll need to be good at guessing) and in some cases they're just plain wrong (e.g., they tell you to use the wrong screws, which can crack the wood); 3. One piece arrived broken. I am still waiting to hear back about a replacement; 4. **MOST** of the holes do not align -- you will need to drill (or re-drill) most of the holes (do all of them, to be safe); 5. Several holes are just plain missing; 6. Different length screws were labeled with the *same* letter code, so you will crack or pierce through the wood if you aren't watchful about such errors in the instructions; 7. The curved wood pieces (curved corner rack) don't come anywhere near aligning with the rest of the rack -- be careful here or you will break them during assembly; 8. The stain color doesn't match on some of the pieces. In short, although the design for these racks is good, and the pricing is OK, the quality control of their manufacture (in Malaysia) and their instructions, are both very poor. Are they worth buying? Yes. Why? Because you can't find anything else made of solid mahogany that is cheaper – and a custom cellar will cost you many times more. So I am actually considering buying two more units. If you are capable and careful, you can make these work; albeit with several hours of careful work...
