“Shinwa is the flagship layout tools for woodworkers and carpenters alike in Japan. People just started to realize the excellence of Shinwa tools outside Japan for the past few years while Shinwa is still not as widely known to Americans as one might expect, but it's gaining popularity as people are dazzled around the world of the Japanese workmanship building using these tools for joineries to build furniture and most especially their temples. I've recently acquired a combination square by Shinwa all stainless steel and man this thing rocks in precision for what it's built for. Outstanding tool. Start using this instead of using the non-precise speed squares. NOTE: At this point I'm trying to get all their tools, I'll try them out and I'll follow up with reviews. Thanks Shinwa.”
