“This set has been my go-to for roughly a thousand pen sets and did 6 months of production honey dipper turning for a premier kitchen store. The edge holding seems as good as high end tools, and I always sharpen before a finishing cut, anyways. And don’t let anyone tell you that oval skews cannot be used on face cuts. I used this tool to face off each facet of the honey dipper. The spindle gouge has a unique shape allowing a fingernail shape using a simple English grind technique I’ve set no my Oneway jig arm. It makes every cut my 3/8 detail gouge makes. When a turning calls for a short handle, I reach for these.”

“Seemed to work pretty good, the second time using this set though the gouge broke right in half, could have been user error since it was my second time ever trying to turn anything”
