“Writes smoothly, but few issues, like, 1) parts look very similar and difficult to tell them apart from online directions. This shouldnâ€™t be an issue after you you have completed the first one. 2). You unscrew the cap, but just push it onto other end when you are writing. Cap isnâ€™t secure and it pops off when writing. If given a choice, Iâ€™ll be going with the Navigator style from now on. Have fun”

“it was an easy pen to put together, though i had guidance. main complaint is that the it looks a bit bulky but still feels to light in the hand; also, the nib (at least the one i got in my kit) writes horribly.”

“I have built 8 of this kits and all of them are beautiful, a pair in Padouke?, a set in Redheart, another in Wenge and another in Bubinga. I just started turning wood but I can tell that this larger kits show the beauty of exotic woods.”
