“The kit did not include the instruction sheet. In addition, the Woodcraft web site provided a link to a generic pen turning sheet. After the Woodcraft store could not help, Woodcraft technical assistance provided the right instructions. However, after assembly, the mechanism is "stiff" and difficult to turn. Finally, the ink refill failed after a few minutes. Fortunately, after replacing the ink refill, my grandson (who turned the barrels) is still happy with the pen.”

“I previously posted a less than stellar review on the Hart Double Twist pen Kit. A representative from Woodcraft contacted me and we reviewed the procedure I was using to assemble the kit. As it turns out I should have myself one star. I was not understanding one simple step that caused me to mess up several kits. I made the adjustment in my assembly procedure and the pen works like a million dollars. Thanks Woodcraft for the follow up and the help. I will be buying lots of these kits in the future. They make a beautiful pen”

“I love the look of this pen, I love the size, feel and balance of it. BUT, out of the 6 that I have turned, I have one functional pen. The transmission slides right into the tube with no resistance. I've tried to put a dab of CA glue on the transmission, but that either gets on the finished barrel of the pen or jambs up the transmission. Woodcraft, please have your vendor correct this problem”
