I have done many different knife kits from Woodcraft. My criticism for this knife is the finish on the blade, makes for a difficult time removing epoxy squeeze out and finish without damaging the finish on the steel. Not sure weather it is painted or powder coated. It will look nice when done if you are careful. Also, the handle could be a little longer and/or a thumb grip added. Overall I think it is a nice knife.

Giving this a two star because the holes are metric. Nothing against metric, would prefer it in fact but its problematic when Woodcrafts own house brand kits are metric and NONE of their supplies are. IF you want to use the screws to secure the scales then this is not an issue. Thing is, they are ugly and if you want an ugly knife why bother making it yourself! IF they stocked metric rod this would not be an issue but they dont so it is and that is dumb! Cutler rivets or Corby/Lovelass bolts would be great as well.
