This is a beautiful pen kit with a unique combination of shiny and satin chrome finish. The additional decorative detail sets it apart from other kits. This version of the Wall Street II pen kit was combined with a beautiful swirling pattern of violet/purple acrylic with white threads. The recipient of this gift was delighted.

The kit looks nice but assembles a little differently than the other wall streets. Instead of directly threading the pen mechanism into the front nib of the pen it instead threads into a collar that's used to hold the decorative band in place. The issue stems from the fact that this collar is tapered, once the pen is fully assembled the blank is so snug against the collar tube that it's unable to be turned or disassembled without gripping it into a vice. I'm unsure if I got a bad part or what but ultimately none of the other styles of kits I've had have had this much of a problem being assembled. I would maybe recommend this kit very cautiously, it could cost you a real headache.

I bought two of these, one the satin finish and the other the stylus. Both pens would not fit the tube that was supplied. Both were to loose. They did not press in. I was very disappointed because I ruined two blanks.
