“Replaced the stock blade on my Woodriver 4 1/2 with this blade. Wow, what a difference. It took just a little longer to hone, but held it's edge for a very long session smoothing some rough cut cedar. I was worn out but the blade never slowed down. I gave a review of the Woodriver 4 1/2 and expressed disappointment in the performance of the plane, particularly the blade. Now, its like having a new plane and it is performing fantastic.”

“Purchased blade as a replacement for a woodriver no7. Drove 1.5 hours to purchase. Blade has rust and some sort of stain. Have to flatten back and sharpen from 220 grit.”
