This tool is nicely balanced & does what it is supposed to do. It gives my pens a real nice straight profile before the final sanding. I have not changed or rotated the tip yet, but don’t anticipate any difficulty. Also purchased at sale price so I feel like I got a good deal!!! I already purchased the negative rake replacements & plan to turn some acrylics, before getting to a bowl.

I’ve been making pens with a smaller scale carbide tool & decided to upgrade to a larger full size so I can progress to turning bowls. I’m still turning pens & just love these full size on the pens. The chisel control is so nice. Got them on sale too!!

Great turning tool for a first time turner, very forgiving and easy to use. The fit and finish are also really nice, definitely can tell the manufacturer puts in the effort to focus on quality.

Fantastic tools, ignore the negative review, he clearly does not know how to use these properly. An Allan wrench gets the screw out nicely, and they can be sharpened very simply.

Good luck getting the tiny set screw open in order to replace a dull tip. Two of these I bought are now useless. Can’t sharpen them and can’t replace the tip. Woodcrafters left me holding the bag. They worked great and I was able to replace Some of the tips.
