i was deeply disappointed in these plans . i want to build a rocking chair and thought a good set of plans would be the support i would need to do so .i did not like that the various components were drawn on top of each other and that the seat was just a portion of the seat etc...I found these plans very confusing and would have much preferred that the individual pieces would have been drawn separately and not squashed together and placed over lapping each other . I was not looking for a work of art with these plans; but was hoping for clear images of each piece " and this definitely was not that .. i would not recommend these plans

This plan is just the detailed drawing, as it explains. It does not have any step-by-step instructions. It's a big 36x48 piece of paper that I hung up in my shop and referenced constantly while I was engaged in building the rocker. It was an awesome reference, and as it is full size, it made it easy to compare pieces in size by simply holding them up to the plan. The nice thing too is that you can be creative & flexible with shapes and some sizes, lengths of thing. I modified it a bit as I had a hard time turning the back spindles, so I made some rectangular tapered spindles that worked out nicely. If you want to see photos of the one I built, check it out here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BjC82VRA73O. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Thanks for the drawing!
