One thing you never see mentioned with parallel clamps ( at least Bessey) is the bottom jaw comes off and reverses making this a spreader. since none of my other clamps can be spreaders and I knew one day I'd need one, I was delighted to discover this when I 'graduated' to parallel clamps.

The Revo Jr. clamp has emerged in my shop as the favorite general purpose clamp. You can do panel glueups or furniture assembly, and they are quite a bit lighter than the full size K body Revo clamp. The sliding action is smooth and predictable, and I've never had one slip in years of daily use. They are durable, and can take a good knock in the shop with no ill effect. The replaceable jaw pads really stay put (if you've ever had a clamp pad fall off repeatedly, you know how annoying that can be). Plus, the top jaw pad is a handy spare. The only negative, or at least room for improvement, is the handle. If Bessey made the Revo Jr. with a rubberized handle like the big Revo, it would be a perfect clamp. I've always been able to get good clamping pressure with these, I just like the way the rubber grip feels in your hand. Overall, it's a 5 star tool, because I have all manners of clamps in the shop, and this is the one I reach for.
