I've put handles on seven of these pocket knifes using epoxy, not the accompanying screws. Awesome knives!

Due to health problems I have not been able to work in the wood shop for over 2 1/2 years. As I was going through a box of projects that were either not finished or not started I came across a couple of WoodRiver knife blade kits. These gave me the idea to get back into woodworking. I needed a few tools and went to Woodcraft in Indianapolis. While looking around I found this kit and I thought it would be a great gift for a friend a of mine. So I bought it and it was the first woodworking project I have done in the 2 1/2 years plus I have been away from wood. The knife was just enough of a challenge to work on. In the end I had a great looking knife and my friend really likes.

I've "built" (i.e. shaped and attached the scales) two Sarge liner-lock folding knives. This one, Item #153377, and the fairly similar #183985. They have almost the exact same dimensions, but there are differences. Although the blade length is very nearly the same, and the thickness is exactly the same (7/64", which is a good thickness for these knives), the chord (from the edge to the back of the blade) is substantially less on this one, about 11/16". This results in a visibly more slender knife than #183985, which has a chord of a touch under 1â€

Great kit, sharp and sweet action. I have made more than 10 of these kits, if the action on the blade is sticky, just barley loosen the screw as some are over tourqued. I also recommend scratching the metal under the handle before epoxy, any questions Look for @LeftBrainCo on instagram I’ll be happy to give tips!
