“The plane iron seems well made. It did take about 20 minutes to flatten the back. A bit longer than it should but not a deal breaker. Putting a secondary bevel was fast and easy, less than 4 minutes. Overall, happy with this purchase. As always, Woodcraft shipped very quickly. They're one of my go-to wood working suppliers.”

“I picked up a second blade to go with my WR low-angle block, I put a 35 degree bevel on it to have a high-angle option. The blade that came with the plane had a decent "cup" to it as did this one. I'd definitely recommend David Charlesworth's "ruler trick" for treating the back of the iron; don't waste your time flattening a whole 1", just do a few mm. Once sharpened up the blade cut just fine as expected.”
