“Bought this square 2 years ago. I’m not typically fast to give feedback on a tool. I like to use it for awhile and give my total thoughts, not just initial impression. This square is well made of quality materials. Very easy to read rule and great finish overall. My only complaint is the nut that tightens the rule in place will sometimes come loose if you don’t make sure it’s tight. Far better combi square than the cheaper ones available.”

“The bolt wouldnâ€™t even stay in place to hold the ruler secure. Disappointed for sure will be returning”

“I purchased this combination square in January and didn't receive it until August due to backorders. When I opened the package later on to use it, I realized the screw that holds the ruler in to the square was bent to the point of being totally unusable. In order to try bending it back, I'd have to first cut the screw shorter. I reached out to Woodcraft customer service, but they said that they would not offer a refund or replacement because I was past the 90 day return period, even though the product was defective out of the box.”

“I received this combination square eight months after ordering it due to backorders, and when I opened it up later to use it, I saw that the screw to hold the ruler in place is bent to the point of being unusable. I reached out to Woodcraft to see if I could get a replacement or a refund, and unfortunately they said that I was beyond their 90 day return policy, even though the product is defective out of the box. I won't be buying any Woodcraft branded tools in the future.”

“previously opened, scratches on the blade, upset about the quality, nothing about my experience with this site has been good so far. spent a few hundred dollars, most items have been backordered for over a month, slow to ship, a tape measure came in that was not accurate, this item was previously opened and damaged, im hoping my vise, table saw inserts and veritas marking guage come in ok if they ever arrive. poor service. woodcraft does not value their customers orcommunicate well, and they do not give the option to cancel orders. terrible!”

“I purchased this tool believing it would be an upgrade over the less expensive squares I had purchased in my youth. What a disappointment. The square does not perform worth a damn. When I tighten the knurled clamping bolt to lock the sliding part of the square, the tool falls apart. The sliding part of the square pops off the locking rail. What a frustrating situation. I emailed Woodcraft, and they did not respond. I would recommend that you NOT purchase this tool at the risk of having an experience similar to mine.”

“Iâ€™ve had this combination square for about a year and just like another commenter wrote, the hook that holds the square in place wore out. Itâ€™s basically only good as a ruler now. If youâ€™re looking for an inexpensive option, save your money and get a cheaper one from somewhere else.”
