“I like this awl. I needed to mark a bunch if holes and this worked perfectly. I went with the larger one as the smaller one looked really small to me. The point is sharp. I like the handle shape but that is a personal preference thing. I preferred the larger handle as compared to the woodriver branded one. I would like a darker wood handle but there is nothing wrong with handle. It is just a light colored oak. It is well crafted. I put a couple coats of oil on it and the color stayed light as well. I needed an awl and wanted a quality one and this one fit the bill for me.”

“Your flyer for May stated that the mini socket awl was 4 1/2". When it was delivered it is 3 5/8". Nearly an inch difference. If I would have known the correct length I would have ordered the full size awl. When looking at your web site it is listed as 3 7/8". Not happy that I have to check all your information to determine what is correct. That being said it appears to be a nice awl even though shorter than I wanted.”
