“Purple heart is a favorite wood to use in many of my projects. I have ordered 2" X 2" turning stock as well as 1/4" and 3/8" dimensional wood. Consistency in wood thickness, especially 1/4" and 3/8", are important and all of my dimensional wood orders have been consistent. Wood quality is superb. I am about ready to place another order.”

“Very hard & heavy wood. Beautiful, rich color that has held up outdoors. Came with some warpage but I planed down to 5/8” thickness with light passes on planer. Probably could have gotten away with 11/16” thickness but had other wood already planed to 5/8. Very pleased with overall.”
