I purchased the walnut, maple, yellowheart cutting board kits and I am happy with the product. No problems on my end. I'll buy again.

I bought the Kit at a terrific discount. When it arrive I discovered why the discount. This kit had been opened and not properly resealed. The boards in the kit were as ready for gluing as stated in the marketing material. That is the only negative part of this project. I own a Shopsmith. I ran the board through the Jointer to remove the curves in the wood and then glued them up. A quick pass on the saw to square the end. Several passes through a Planar to remove old glue and even out the boards. The Router table added a bevel to all edges to prevent people from getting splinters. I finished with Howard's Cutting Board Finish. I got the kit at a great price and it went together in 2 days. Let me know if you have any more of these kits that have not aged well on the shelf. I would be interested in buying.

This kit is easy and fast. All that is needed is glue, clamps, sander and cutting board oil. I cut this in two and is perfect size for a home bar. Giving as gifts for Christmas. Fast easy and fun. The pieces were not perfectly planed evenly so I had some sanding to do to even it out but since I do not have a planer I cant knock it that much
